How You Say It Makes A Difference

Which is a better strategy for your call to action?
    • “Save 50%”
    • “Save 50% - only $25”
    • “Save 50% - was $50, now only $25”
How about none of the above?  There is actually one more option that you should have thought of and it's still offering a 50% discount.  Here is the best choice:  “Buy one, get one FREE!”  It is the same 50% off, but now the customer can imagine having two of the item which is psychologically more enticing than saving 50%.

In addition to using a more powerful call to action, your business will bring in double the amount of money and move twice as much product.  (If you are selling leather belts for $50, you will be bringing in the same equivalent $25 per belt as the other offers, but with the two-for-the-price-of-one offer your revenue is $50 and you’ve sold 2 belts.)
